Be careful of what you cook your food in, and store your food in. 
​Many pans are coated in toxic non-stick materials.  These find their way into your foods and cause extra pressure on your liver to eliminate them.  They also cause endocrine disruption (make your hormones go haywire) and can be stored in tissues of your body.  
Generally stainless steel is a great alternative, so any stainless steel pan will not only last you a long time but will not secrete toxins into your food.  Some other non-toxic companies can be found below.

Storage containers

Steer clear of plastic containers, even if they are BPA free.  There are still many other nasties in plastics which leach into your foods, especially fat based foods such as cheeses and meats.  Glass containers are great and are often thermally insulated so you can put them in the oven.  Stainless steel containers are also a good option.

Ikea do a range of glass containers that are suitable for fridge/freezer and oven use.  They have plastic lids, so just don`t overfill your container so the food doesn`t touch the lid.
